Prager Brothers Artisan Breads is dedicated to making bread rooted in the old world tradition. All breads are fermented with natural leaven* instead of commercial yeast. The natural leaven is crucial for making good healthy breads. Staying true to the art of baking bread we have a limited production which focuses on quality. By using wholesome organic grains and hand shaping each loaf, the beauty and simplicity inherent in our bread is carried on to the consumer.
*Natural Leaven may also be referred to as a natural starter or sourdough culture. It is a diverse community of naturally occurring yeast and bacteria.
